The project supports development of research, reading, oral presentation skills, and vocabulary acquisition. Students will investigate an issue related to globalization from the website www.globalization101.org. They will choose a region and focus area to investigate further and describe the positive and negative effects of globalization on that region and the world. Students will develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the world. The project also introduces basic online research skills and gives students tools to evaluate reliable sources for academic work.
