We have created graphic organizers for faculty across disciplines to use to help their students better understand textbooks they use in class. These organizers are easily explained, and can be adjusted as needed by instructors or students to help them better make connections between the reading outside of class and the lecture/learning/activities in class.
This is the final project for an intercultural communication course. The project aligns the transfer pathway course outcomes with several mini-projects that can be done as mini-essays, mini-presentations, or mini-speeches. A common rubric is included that works for all methods of delivery.
