They also give a great introduction to Trigonometry for the student who has never taken a Trigonometry course before. Two OERs are presented here: 1. PreCalculus by Jay Abramson, licensed under CC BY 2. Trigonometry by Mike Weimerskirch - a video textbook consisting of pre-recorded videos. This resource is licensed under CC BY-NC.

This project is designed for students in English for Academic Purposes at the community college level. The project supports development of research, reading,oral presentation skills, and vocabulary acquisition. Students will investigate an issue related to globalization from the website www.globalization101.org. They will choose a region and focus area to investigate further and describe the positive and negative effects of globalization on that region and the world. Students will develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the world. The project also introduces basic online research skills and gives students tools to evaluate reliable sources for academic work. This content was created as part of South Central College's Global Circle Curriculum Development Project.
