Content Description

This project is designed for students in English for Academic Purposes at the community college level. The project supports development of research, reading, oral presentation skills, and vocabulary acquisition. They will choose a region and focus area to investigate further and describe the positive and negative effects of globalization on that region and the world. Students will develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the world. The project also introduces basic online research skills and gives students tools to evaluate reliable sources for academic work. This content was created as part of South Central College's Global Circle Curriculum Development Project.
