The vocabulary guides were created using the bold terms in each chapter. Terms were added to each chapters vocabulary guide in they order that they appear in the chapter. The documents average 5-7 pages in length with approximately 12 words per page. The terms will be listed on the left side of the page with text boxes to their right.
We have created graphic organizers for faculty across disciplines to use to help their students better understand textbooks they use in class. These organizers are easily explained, and can be adjusted as needed by instructors or students to help them better make connections between the reading outside of class and the lecture/learning/activities in class.
This course shell is designed as support for a face-to-face public speaking course. Lesson modules test mastery of content so that class time can be focused on speeches, activities, and consultation with instructor. Assessments are aligned with course and unit outcomes for easy tracking of progress.
