Grand Tour of Italy--Art Before Perspective

Students will be learning the historical background on perspective drawing and drawing in 1, 2, and 3-point perspectives. First, we’ll start with good ol’ analog drawings with pencils, paper, rulers, and triangles. Next, we will move into Adobe Illustrator to create a digital rendition.
This module explores the global context surrounding perspective drawing.

We have created graphic organizers for faculty across disciplines to use to help their students better understand textbooks they use in class. These organizers are easily explained, and can be adjusted as needed by instructors or students to help them better make connections between the reading outside of class and the lecture/learning/activities in class.
